Bethena: Komlos, Hungary

I am researching the village (I think) of Komlos, Hungary later Chmelnik, Czechoslovakia now possibly Chmelovec, Ukraine. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

The old 1910 Hungarian megye map is at :

The village of Komlos falls into Bereg megye and it is in Ukraine.
Best to research for the ancestral surname first and then the village. This being Ukraine, well I am not too sure how lucky can you get.

Probably English trnsliteration - Khmil'nyk - Zakarpastka oblast, Irshavsky rajon (Irshava)

I too am interested in Komlos, where my father was born in 1921. I know that it was near Munkacs, now in the Ukraine and known as Mukachevo.

go to http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910 click on Bereg megye to locate Komlos, South-East of town of Munkacs by a river Borsova and Hosva.
You might post on Ukraine's Genforum and Ancestry, if you have not already.
